With twin aspirations to deliver spiritual insights to individuals and help religious organizations thrive, Pastor Paul McCart has served as a transformative leader for Christian communities in Colorado and New York.  A deep theological thinker who is committed to demonstrating the relevance of God’s Word to everyday life, Paul has always sought out ways to help people come to faith in Christ.
In his two-decade tenure as the pastor at Parkside Church, Paul McCart balanced his weekly messages with a variety of other initiatives to plant and establish the church in Clifton Park, NY.  He was able to increase the church’s outreach and impact in numerous ways.

Paul provided a strong leadership presence as he planted and established the church. From securing credentialing, licensing, and funding for projects to overseeing professional teams who helped bring those projects to life, Pastor Paul McCart is well versed in the end-to-end processes of raising support and growing a church.

A Life Built on Faith

A common thread links Paul McCart’s endeavors as the pastor at Parkside Church: a genuine desire to help people find life in Christ, grow their faith, and change the trajectory of church members’ lives for the better, along with supporting the community in which he lives.

This thread was first sown during Pastor Paul’s first role as a Youth Pastor at Little Log Church in Palmer Lake, Colorado, during which time he concurrently started his Master of Divinity program at Denver Seminary. Within a year Paul accepted an opportunity closer to Denver as a Youth Pastor at Christ Community Covenant Church. Here, he was able to pursue some new ministerial work in addition to the responsibilities he had previously had at Little Log.

At Christ Community Covenant Church, Pastor Paul focused on creating discipleship and internship programs, leading missions trips, and finding innovative, fun, and high-energy ways to foster the discussion and understanding of faith within youth groups. Under Pastor Paul McCart’s leadership, the youth ministry at Christ Community Covenant Church grew from 20 junior and senior high students to over 100 in three years.

Paul McCart’s early career years were spent with General Electric in their fast-track Technical Sales Program in the Cleveland, OH area and then in the Albany/Binghamton/Syracuse areas as a factory automation specialist.

With a big-picture mindset and an out-of-the-box approach to today’s ministry challenges, Pastor Paul McCart has helped individuals from all walks of life understand and embrace God’s Word and be an active part of the local church.
